hi i just finished installing xp pro on my system everything worked fine and restarted the pc and i got this error saying that windows can not load beccause of a copurt or missing file system32/DRIVERS/pci.sys i have tried unsing the repair funcation in windows setup but that still did not do anything Somebody plz help me!!!
hi there!! ok those error happen do to cd or cd-rom issues like: 1.is the win cd damage like several scratch because some optical drivers cant read damage cds!! 2.is your cd original or copy or download from internet. if is original there shouln´t be problem with it. some copy or downloaded version of win can have missing or corrupt files. 3.optical drivers. if you discard all the above and you have a wincopy that works then let think of your cd drivers. a damage cd-rom(cd-rw,dvd-rw) some times even if the play music or movies, sometimes they have problems with file copying like installing a program so check your drivers there where the bug might be hope i help let me know
