everytime i click on a folder such as my documents or my music i get the message that says:

Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

can anyone help me on this problem? I have used the Hijack program and here are my results:

yep youve got stuff going on in there, so far ive spotted IPinsight and ill check the rest now and tell you what to do.

 

xoftspy and spyhunter get rid of hijackers thats what i know from experience and error nuker should fix some of your errors.best anti virus is kaspersky removes viruses worms trojans cookies and anything else thrown at you

 

that would be great if you can tell me what else to get rid of. Can you tell me exactly what i need to remove?

ive just had some problems with my comp, ive got time now.

this shouldnt be hard to fix, just some crappy spyware http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ , thatll get rid of any spyware in there if it can be removed that way make sure you update and scan with this its a great program and finds alot more program than anything else.

and ill look through your HJT and btw if you want to get rid of viruses this will do very well http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ .

btw i havent seen the log yet so theres a chance that botch of thoose wont do a thing at all(low chance) but scan with them and if they find anything then remove them and send in another HJT log.
im going to look through the log and tell you what to do, BUT it would be easier if you ran thoose and posted a fresh HJT.


IPinsight may be in the controll pannel add or remove programs, if not Start > Run , enter 'cmd'

then Reboot Windows and delete IPINSIGT.DLL in the Windows folder. You can also delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\IPInsight to clean up if you wish, also Delete the file IPINSIGT.DLL from the LastGood folder in the Windows folder, and IPINSIGT.PNF and IPINSIGT.inf from the LastGood\INF folder.

same thing is happening to me too, if i click anyting on the desktop other the internet explorer or mozilla firefox, it will say Explorers encountered a program and stuff, but the last time i used hjt and sended my logfile(today), there was nothing wrong!! and btw: for Error Nuker, the program i think has spyware, cuz when i ran spyware search and destroy, Error Nuker was on one of the list. no sure tho

 

when i used error nuker i scanned it once and it found about 140 errors and the problem was still there. I gave it another scan and it found about 5 and then the problem was gone.
