This may be a silly question (I guess it's not) the HDD isn't SATA is it?

SATA in a HP 6000 series laptop? Your kidding right. And because vista won't come out to the public for another month or so that load might have given more then what was expected. Your only hope is contacting HP. With all due respect this is starting to smell fishey so im backing out. <POOF>

 

got it fixed thanx bfk and yes it is legit, business copy which is was out in december.

 

As I said a silly question, but you never ever know what some people try and do.
