Hi guys, I downloaded a file via torrent which I am trying to watch with Windows Media Player 11. According to the torrent it was an AVI file and I have appropriate AVI codecs in place. However it wont play the file, show a thumbnail preview, and when i right-click it I can not rename, cut, copy, or select properties. The Windows help says its an unknown file type. When I try to play it in windows it starts off paused and when I click play it plays the last video i watched. I know this file isnt corrupt because I had this exact same file before and it is happening with several other vids. There doesnt seem to be any connection between the ones that work and the ones that dont. It took me forever to download it so any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
