windows media player 7 problems

    I'm running windows media player 10 and when I try to play a music video file that reads as a movies file (mpeg) and when i try to play it with wmp 10 it tries to connect to codec server and responds that the codec cannot be found. could anyone help me out with this. thanx

    you need a codec to watch the file.
    use gspot or avi codec to find out which one you need.
