First, download the client from www.utorrent.com and install it on your computer.

Once thats done, try downloading some random torrent from isohunt.com or demonoid.com and when the option to save or open comes up, click save, and save it to your My Documents folder.

If media player tries to come up when you go to run the torrent, close out media player and right click on the .torrent in your My Documents folder. In the right click menu, find and select "Open with". A new window will appear momentarily with a list of programs you can suposedly open the torrent with. Locate the box labeld "Always use this program to open this kind of file" (I don't remember the exact working) and make sure that is checked BEFORE you select uTorrent from the list of programs. If you uTorrent isn't in the list browse for it.

Any way, that should solve your problem.

Have fun, and it doesn't matter if you download from pirate bay or not. It has a lot of the same stuff that places like ISOHUNT, DEMONOID, TORRENTBOX, TORRENTLEACH, and all the other torrent sites have. If you decide to be a member of a site in order to get faster downloads, make sure you are always uploading something. So get a gig or two of something popular (porn seems to be in high demand) and constantly seed that file for others to download. This is important because as a member, your download speed depends on your upload ratio. So if you leave your computer on and seeding while your at work each day. You'll find that with a good computer and some fast internet, you'll be able to torrent HUGE files (like 5 GB files) in only a fraction of the time it would take a non-member.
