WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER

    hI CAN SOME BODY HELP ME OUT IM BURNING PICTURES TO A DVD USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER BUT IT WILL NOT PLAY BACK ON A STANDALOAN DVD PLAYER, I HAD THIS PROBLIM BEFORE AND I KNOW IT'S JUST SOME SETTING I HAVE TO CHANGE BUT HAD TO RE BOOT MY PC NOW THE BAS----- AT DELL WANT €50.00 FROM ME THANKS MICK

    you might want to reconsider your question by highlighting the entire text and changing it to lower case.People who see how you have asked your question, all in CAPITALS, WILL ASSUME YOU ARE SHOUTING AT THEM.There is ettiquette even here , might want to hurry before a mod see's it

    As to your question did you try to just burn the images to a disc and put them in your dvd player.Most dvd players these days will play jpeg images straight off as raw data.... so skip using windows media

    Do you get any error message with the player or does the dvd just not load?

    ok guys sorry about the caps first time to use afterdawn will not do it again thanks for the hint, any way all the pictures i save are jpegs and will save and burn to the disc but will not play back on a dvd player or power dvd, but will play in media player ??? Thanks Mick

    I'm not sure if wmp converts these files cause I don't use it for that.
    But whats the make & model of the dvd player? Most somewhat newer ones should accept jpegs.
    Have you tried burn the pics as a data disc?

    actaully you probably have the right solution there binkster, newer ones do but the older ones didnt........
