i was just wondering how i could create a vista boot disc (the disc used to repair vista or install it) on my vista laptop. Can i create it from copying files from my hdd to a disc or something? if so how?

You can't create a boot disc with Vista. You should have some sort of Vista disc that came with your computer if not call the manufacturer and they will send it to you most likely.
