Hi, I am using a computer i built my self. It has an asus m2n32-sli motherboard and an amd athlon 64 x2 5600.

My problem is that when vista starts up and i click my user name (or any other) the network takes about a minute to show up, and at times it never shows up. The funnny thing is that my AOL program detects the connection before vista.

Is there any way i can stop it from taking so long? I have disabled everything(wireless and LAN2) except for the 1st LAN plug in on the mobo. I have also unchecked IP/TCI v6 thing.
