Windows Vista

    Can anyone tell me how I can make my pc go faster using Windows Vista.It's a Dell Inspiron 531 and only 6 mths old.Have AVG antivirus software and Spydoctor installed.I have tried a defrag,deleting files,only having Q=Windows Defender running the bare minimum programs,limited power settings,have cleaned the registry and repaired any registry errors.
