Hello Dela thanx for the help. I have since started the computer and made the boot disk for Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolsetversion 5. I burnt an .iso file using img burn. Now im to paranoid to reboot the computer as I know it wont restart or the disk wont work!

Anyway do you know any way of scanning using a method that doesn't restart the computer? Or any good software that may diagnose the problem without a reboot?

    Thnx a million

    Still in need of help.........

I have restarted the comp and tried to run DART. But it gets to the loading screen with the windows logo and is very faint. Nothing further happens. ARGHHHHHH!! Anyway I downloaded a version of Windows XP and it loads all the way up until past the blue screen up until it says windows is loading and also freezes.

Im at wits end and feel like breaking the f*cking thing.........

Whats this linux live Cd and what can i use to find hard ware issues??

    Thanks in advance
