    Hey Hursty

Thats an excellent guide u posted, as usual ;). I've followed your steps for extracting the files from the recognized winrar and the unrecognized one so i have 2.Bin and 2.Cue files. It's a movie i got that has two 2 CD folders CD1 and CD2 with lots of rar files inside it, and I'am trying to burn it. Do u know what's the next step i should do to burn the movie into DVDR after extracting those 2 folders?

Would rly appreciate ne help, thnx.

well if the movie is split onto 2 disk's,to join them back together you need to extract the mpegs from them, then after that convert them to dvd format
i would suggest using isobuster to get the mpegs, then load them both into convertXtodvd
(they will be converted/joined in one go)

For anyone having a similar problem, with any iso of any game that you try to extract with WinRAR, if you get multiple files and/or folders and can't get it into iso form, you should try this. Click on the .rar file, but before beginnig extraction, go to SETTINGS/INTEGRATION, and if the ISO box is checked, uncheck it. Then try to extract. I found the answer somewhere on this forum(can't remember where, was looking all night). Now, if I could just get through all my psp homebrew problems. Anyway, this is a great forum. Thanks to afterdawn, I now, also worship the God known as Tayo Yuden.

    @bandoogie

hehe,i have said that before many times :)

what people tend not to realise is that winrar can open the contents of the image after extraction

people have winrar associated with iso images like you say, thus after extracting the image, they still have a winrar icon, and get all confused and extract it again,....-> which then gives you the game files.then its like..wtf?

if they slowed down and looked at the image, even though it had the winrar icon, they would have seen that it would say

    myimageblahblah.[bold]"iso"[/bold]

I know hursty that's exactly what was bothering me, making me scratch my head as well. I saw the .iso extension, so I went perusing through the options to see if there was an iso option or something. It never occured to me that I would have to disassociate the iso extension from winrar, hence why I left the box checked. It really does pay to go through the settings and options of programs and understand what they mean, would've saved me some headaches plenty of times. But then again, if all of use newbies read and understood everything, then what would all you afterdawn genuises be left with? :)

open winrar, and then browse for the iso
right click on it,and select "add files to archive"
a window will pop up,like below

then where it says "split volumes to bytes" enter the value you require

50,000 will give 50mb parcels for example

that error is assocaited with errors when all the rar archives are not complete
if you have extracted the iso from the rar files into a new folder, thats all there is to it
post a screen shot of what you are trying to do,cause i'm a bit confused

aight so what im trying to do is move the iso from the new folder out so i can use xiso on it to extract it further but the error up above keeps popping up (must extract from a previous volume and also no files to extract

try just leaving it where it is,
just right click on it and extract from there
xiso is a xbox extracting tool right,?? (of which i know jack s**t about) !
