I have a couple of ZIP files that when I try to extract them, the WinRAR diagnostic message says, "Cannot create http / The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." I understand that this usually means that the name contains characters not allowed by Windows, but is there a way to change or fix this? I tried using the WinRAR repair function but it did'nt work.

Given the error messages you typed I think it was good it didn't open. A .rar file is a compression program just like win zip. It don't make HTTP calls on it's own.

Sorry I wasn't clear on this. These were ZIP files created by HT Track Website Copier to store all of the necessary files in the hts-cache folder. That's why it was trying to create http.
