WinTV-PVR-150 Remote Controll Problem

    System: WinXp Pro SP2, 200GB HD, Athlon 2800 XP, 512 Ram.

    I am having problem with the remote control part. Everything else works great. I have basic Comcast cable that requires no reciever box. I have the remote cable plugged in correctly. When I launch the IR remote app i get this error:

    " Failed to initialize Infared Remote Hardware"

    I had the same problem with my card the first time I installed it.

    Make sure the IR jack is inserted well into the WinTV PVR-150.

    Also I would download the latest drivers from thier site.

    I have downloaded the latest drivers from their site and the remote receiver is connected properly. I have even switched into a different Pci slot and I still get that damn message Failed to initialize Infrared remote. Is there anything else I can do? I am about to give up and take the card back to CC.
