My father is going deaf. He constantly has the volume on our TV so HIGH that no one else can hear each other when he is watching TV. Can any recommend some Headphones that I could get for him? Preferably wireless (bluetooth, etc.). However...we also want to still hear the TV, just at a lower volume. So, I'm looking for Headphones that won't over-ride the audio output. We can listen quietly while my father can wear headphones and have them as high as he needs it!

Our TV is a SONY Bravia, maybe 50 inch?

Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Rahs.

Hearing aid? If he is that hard of hearing he should have a hearing aid.

lol...we've tried to get him to get a hearing aid but he refuses. However, he doesn't seem to mind to get headphones. Did I mention he's very stubborn? I'm feeling lucky that he's OKed the headphone idea.
