okay here is my question hopefully you guys can answer it. I purchased a powerline ethernet adapter for my ps3 hooked into my wireless router, because I was tired of lag. Can I still use my wireless for my laptop? Or would I have to unplug the ethernet cable connected to my router?

What happened when you tried to connect to the internet with your laptop?

I assume from the powerline adapter you have a network cable going to 1 of 4 ports on your router(may differ depending on model), if so you should have no issues using both the wired and wireless at the same time with no plugging and unplugging required.
