My new DVD player plays WMA discs so now I'm having the time of my life cramming CDs onto one disc. Does anybody know of a site out there that explains WMA and how it works? What am I missing? Why isn't the whole world working with this format? MP3 seems dead to me with this available.

Because MP3 is a better format than Microsoft's WMA. MP3 outperforms it easily in terms of audio quality and available compatible hardware.

If your DVD supports WMA, then it very likely supports MP3 too?
