My Windows Media Player 10 will suddenly not play any DVD's unless I use DVD43. It has not done this before. I have a DVD decoder installed. I also have a separate DVD application that will play DVD's outside WMP. My WMP 10 will also play copied versions of DVD's, just not originals. It says: "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection."

    Thanks for any help.

Try nero showtime. It seems to play anything even music file regardless of protection. I constantly use it. The other thing is nvidia decoder platinum. It doesnt seem to mind protection either. The only time I boot up anydvd is when I dont want to wathc fbi warnings...lol.:>
