Well, recently I've rebuilt my computer, and have fresh installed Windows XP and all that. Well, for some reason now, whenever I try to watch a wmv file, bsplayer (the main program I use) insists on buffering the move whenever I start or seek. The delay caused by this is EXTREMELY annoying, and I have no idea what's causing this. On my old XP install, I never had anything of this sort. Any help, please?

update: I found out why things were buffering so slow, but can't seem to find a solution. It's because, for some reason or another, BSplayer is using Windows Media Source Filter, an old legacy codec built for WMP 6.4 and below. Modern programs make use of Video Renderer, but for some reason BSplayer won't. Is there any way to get around this?
