Is it possible to convert an avi or ogm file so that it can be put onto a CD-RW and it will actually play on a DVD player(not the computer)?

It all depends on whether or not the DVD player can play CD-RWs (most do) or AVI files--most do not.

hi that is hard to answer without knowing what dvd player you have,
if you know the model you can look on DVDR help, it will tell you what file types your machine can play.
