Here's a good read. http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/113 Dave it's possible your dvdrw just doesn't like crapola memorex media. What is your current firmware? The most current is 3.04 or you can crossflash to 1.F3 mad dog f/w to make your drive capable of booktyping dvd+r media to dvd-rom (do this at your own risk).
