Worth the $500 asking price?

    This is on craigslist right now locally. is this a good deal?

    2 Gigs Crucial Ballistic Ram
    Hard Drive 500 GB Western digital with 16mb buffer
    Video Card Nvidia 8800gt 670m dual DVI (ALPHA DOGG)

    Case Apevia X-Plorer Red

    No, that is about retail cost for those parts new...and if you are planning to buy new, you can get better parts for about the same money.

    you can probably get a system built with them parts in brand new with a 2year warrenty.

    there is so much more to find in the internet. you may want to look for other sites. you will get more higher specs than that at the same cost

    It's a reasonable system apart from the shakey nvidia/Asus board and low quality case, but that's an old second hand system, possibly more than 2 years old. You could buy a brand new PC with similar specification for that sort of money.
