I will record a short program tonight as I think I can watch the result on my PC....could be wrong though, will get back to you. Thanks for taking the time to assist me with this problem...ed Update: recorded a show on a DVD+RW and it won't finalize and the manual says that and it won't play on the computer but will play on most DVD players if not too old.
