write error

    so you have it on your hard drive and you can't burn it????

    are the files larger than 4464? did you shrink them down to a DVD5? or is this still a copy of a copy on your hard drive?

    I checked for writer firmware everything is up to date.

    I shrink them down to 4700 like i did with the ones that worked.

    If you only shrink them down to 4700MB than they arent going to work your disk will actually only hold 4489MB for DVD-r and 4483MB for DVD+r. What proggy are you using to shrink your movie?

    Also Try closing AnyDVD when writing your disk it has been known to interfear with the writing process and you really dont need it once you have your movies to the hard drive anyway.

    BB....... I PMed Mech saying the same thing! about the size and about AnyDVD once it's on the hard drive!

    I tried closing anydvd and changed the size to 4400 and still no luck.I am ready to give up on the whole thing.
