WRITE ERROR

    I'm using nero 8. Hey all I am new here but I am having problems and I get WRITE ERROR when I am bruning a dvd.I went to device manager on my windows xp and in my PRIMARY IDE CHANNEL PROPERTIES under advance setting for device 0 and 1 for the transfer mode they both had DMA if available and in the device 0 current transfer mode it was PIO Mode and under device 1 current transfer mode it reads not applicable. For the SECONDARY IDE CHANNEL PROPERTIES for device 0 and 1 for transfer mode dma if available and for device 0 current transfer mode ultra dma mode 2 and for device 1 under current transfer mode shows not applicable I'm using ATAPI DVD A DH20A4P. Again if anyone can help, then thanks in advance
