I have just installed the Xecuter 3 CE chip into my xbox 1.0. The flash bios screen comes up just fine. I flashed the bios, with the correct switch settings and it shutdown as it was supposed to. WHen I turned it back on, it just came up as a blank screen. I booted up backup mode and tried again, but again the same thing happened. The MS Dash still works just fine, but I can't get it booting in chip mode properly. I am using A/V cables and the soldering points seem fine. What can I do?

Yea I had the same problem and I has to do with what version of xbox you have. I have either a 1.4 or a 1.3 and when i originally flashed the bios, mine did the same thing. I used the wrong file to flash with. There should be two files and make sure you use the file that does not have 1.6 anywhere in the file name. After I flashed it with the other file, it worked just fine.

ok, guys, if you are using X3_3029, there are two files in the zip file.

    xbox version 1.0 - 1.5 uses X3_3029

    xbox version 1.6 - 1.6b uses X3_3029plus

make sure you are using the correct version of X3 bios.
