I have a Gateway FX desktop and a Dell Alienware M15X laptop. Both computers are running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, but the problem is when I plug in an xbox 360 controller I have a different driver for each system. The Dell Alienware M15X driver for the xbox controller works great and has no problem being detected when used in pc gaming. The Gateway FX desktop doesn’t seem to detect the right driver. I looked into the properties of this driver and it seems its from http://www.motioninjoy.com/. Most of the drivers from this sight are for getting your PS3 controller to work on the PC, which I tried last year, but didn’t have much success. I tried uninstalling the driver, but when I plugged it back in it reinstalled the same driver. Also if you unplug the controller while the computer is on, the computer will shut down and blue screen on you. Here is a link to photos showing properties of both drivers. Any advice would be appreciated.

What if anything can I do to use a game controller for the Mafia2 PC Game? My PS2 controller works fine with other games but Mafia2 does not let me configure a controller.
