XBOX 360 Hitachi drive question

    Hey people, im new here & iv got a question.
    I need to know if its possible to tell what type of Hitachi drive I have without opening my 360. Thanks

    no, the most you can do is look at the tray to see if it is Hitachi or Samsung. From that point on you have to open it to find the exact model.

    P.S. there is an Xbox 360 section here where you should have posted this.
