XBOX 360 QUESTION

    I bought an xbox 360 arcade and I am looking to add a hard drive to it. The drive I purchased is a Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD2500BEVT 250GB 5400 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive. The only thing I ask is there aything I have to do in order for it to work in the xbox or can I just install it. I also purchased the hard drive case for the system as well. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks....

    You bought the right drive, you need to change the firmware. Google hddhackr and read up on it. Or youtube or what ever u use...

    Btw your in the original XBOX part of the fourms, the 360 general discussion is where u want to ask

    ..and yes you need to post in the xbox 360 forum next time, this one is for the old type xboxes
