hey I'm new and I was wondering if the xbox has to be modded just to play a burnt dvd movie. I tried one I burnt with nero DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) iso 1.02. On a dvd-r and it didn't play the movie. It can't recognize it. My xbox isn't modded but I heard it doesn't need to be just to play burnt dvd's. Is this true? Do I need to use +r instead of -r ? thanx

I can assure you that your XBOX doesn't need to be modded in order to play burned movies... no matter if they're + or - r.

So, does that mean I'm doing something wrong? Or there's something wrong with my xbox (although it's brand new)? I've burned about 4 dvds now, all on dvd-r. They all work on my standalone and on my ps2 but not on my xbox. It is unrecognizable. How is this? I used Nero and DVD-ROM (UDF\ISO) I used iso 1.02 on a memorex dvd-r. Is there something in that proccess that I need to change or something?
