Just wanted to know if it was possible to backup my xbox games and play them on my xbox without a mod chip. I understand this is a much more difficult process so if it is in fact possible please bear with me as i am not the biggest computer genius. My DVD burner is a Toshiba ODD-DVD SD-R6252. I had a look at the Xbox EvoX method and i realise this is not for me as i do not have XBOX Live. I then turned to the XBOX Linux Method and it met all my specifications until i realised it required an Xbox USB Adapter. I am Australian and as far as i know the USB Adapter is not available in Australia. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me at all with this problem.

without a modchip, yes. Without a modification at all, no. YOur best best would be a tsop flash. check out the tutorials at www.xbox-scene.com for info on how to do it.
