I was watching g4 techtv the other day and a segment came on about backing up xbox games perfectly without the need of any modification to the console. They started by using a program called clonyxxl which is a copyprotection detection scanner. Basically, It scans the disc and shows you what kind of protection is used. For example, The protection that was used on that particular xbox disc was safedisk. They then opened alcohol and at the bottom left of the screen you can burn a disc with the same copyprotection (For Example, for that disc you would use safedisk). I just have one question, will that really work? Here is a link to download clonyxxl for free--->http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/3/3/3-3-10.shtml
