The problem a majority of you have--including redryan--is an incompatible PC BIOS for Xboxhdm. Essentially, you have followed the instructions correctly, but some problems (in redryan's case, the inability to bootstrap a CD OS, and the infamous drive freezing problem, etc.) will be caused by the motherboard itself (and it's BIOS chip) being unable to do what Xboxhdm requests of it. Try running the program on an older PC. Hope that helps.

ok, ndjumpbal, i cannot load the gamesave that was the first thing i tried, all that is saved on my hdd was the profile not the actual exploit. and now i have a couple things saved from games i played after that. but now withing the last couple days i have had it unplugged for a while and the internal clock is no longer set and without my dash i cant set it so i cannot even play games anymore. it just goes to error 16 now(i think its 16 cant remember for sure) i might just send thekingo7 my hdd if i can ill contact him on it though.

The same tng happened to me. All you have to do is get a modchip. I prefer pre-flashed with a BIOS, so it can boot up un-signed codes. After that is done, burn Slayers Auto-Installer to a blank disk (DVD-R recommended). Put the disk in your Xbox, reboot it, than the installer hould boot up. Follow the directions on screen, and good luck!

no you dont have to get a modchip. there are some easier ways to do this. one is if you just wanna get rid of the internal clock error just put a friends unmodded hdd in your xbox boot it then put yours back in and boot it and its fixed, the easiest way by far. or you can put ur xbox hdd in your computer and run that program from a cd, i cant remember the program name but it was said in this forum already. i think it was xboxhdm or something like that, it will also fix it.

Yes. As redryan has said, Xboxhdm allows you to wipe/re-install, etc. an xbox hard drive, presuming you have backed it up and have the eeprom.bin file. It will allow you to boot from a CD and edit the hard drive.
