xbox dvd drive

    hey, my dvd drive is acting up
    it loads games slow, original and copied,it makes a weird noise, and video files run choppy when playing off cd, but off hdd it runs fine.
    Can a cd cleaner help this? or should i jus buy a new drive off ebay?

    Try to clean it, then if it does not work still get a new drive. Its only 2 wires you have to unplug then put take dvd out then put new dvd in SIMPLE.

    It's very simple but those replacement drives are [bold]not[/bold] cheap.Last time I checked they were around 80-90 dollars for just the dvdrom drive.You won't know how much mileage the drive has on it and you'll be paying a great % of what a new xbox would cost you.
