5 mean its locked u need to hot swap it to get it unlocked aid and evox wont work naw i think aid is the best

Help! I get 06 error and i try lock in pc xbox harddisk with right lock code but my xbox tell that 06 error Tell me what i do?

 

WHat are u trying to use to lock the hdd?? u should use xbhdm

 

I have a question, my friend has this xbox and it worked great but now it shows an error 9 message. I would also like to note tht it is in pieces for a school project he was doing and is just the parts hooked up together right now. From what i have read it could be a bad connection to the motherboard or wrong size HDD??? Its the original HDD.

 

Is it modded in any way??

hi im srry for double posting this but i realy need help and i dont know if this has been asked yet because im not reading 30 pages of posts. but i am a noob and i was playing my friends modded xbox 360 and i decided to have him mod my xbox 360 so i have no clue what kinda mod it is. anyways i had it modded for about a month and ive played a few backup games on it. i was playing a back up of enchanted arms when my screen flashed blue and the game froze. so i resseted the game and tried to play it again and at a diffrent spot it flashed blue and froze. thinking it was just the game i reseted the system and tried to play another game this time at the xbox 360 logo screen i got blue and black checkers all over my screen and the logo was frozen in the background. so i let it sit than i tried it again this time i got three red lights near power button the two bottom parts and the top left hand corner. on the screen their is no errors just a plain black screen. i hope its fixable please help

 

An update on my xbox, still no reply fromanyone yet but i messed with tit a little and now sometimes it gives error 7 and sometimes 9 now. Any suggestions? Again it isnt modded at all and i dont know what went wrong with it to begin with as its not mine, some kid from our schools that gave it to my teacher to use as a project to fix in my class for extra credit.

Someone help.
I used xboxhdm to create a new hd for my friend's xbox.
But i can't lock the hd. the eeprom file was not found.
So i tried to put it in the xbox anyway, but i got error 5. I know this means the xbox hd isn't locked, but what can i do?

 

redo ur xbhdm disk and make sure u have the eeprom in the proper folder

 

i tried that. My eeprom was in all caps (EEPROM) i thought that might be the problem, but it still doesn't work.
It's for my friend, im using his c folder and eeprom, but my e folder, does this make a difference

I tried to make the hd with my c drive and eeprom. And it worked.
Weird...
I guess i'll get all of my friend's folders and eeprom, and try it again
