i have been given 11 xboxs that were returned to walmarts and other stores these xboxes were taken appart and the hard drives were separated from their mother boards i have been successful in unlocking 3 and then locking them to other boards by removing eproms and using config magic i have a few more hard drives that wont unlock... i tried using a dos based hddunlock tool but it unlocks the hard drive but config magic says unlock not supported.... just wondering if anyone knows about any other tools for locking/unlocking xbox drives thanx
not sure about other lock/unlock tools, but, are they original xbox hdds? Are you sure they're actually lockable?
they are all original hard drives got 2 more unlocked by swapping eproms but i have one that just wont unlock or lock properly...
