all 5 wires are in their correct points, no crossover. all 5 lights on solderless adaptor are on

I'm out of them too. I also can't figure out why chip#2 just has the blue 5v light on. know anyplace I can send it to pay to get it fixed?

Looking back.. Booted with eject ring orange.. Did you remember to re-connect the fan?

The adapter is lighting up blue as it should? and on a 1.6 you are using the right one..check your version from the link above

This all does sound like a bad connection problem or possibly a faulty chip. If you take the chip off the header the xbox should boot retail. If not then we need to get it going. Take the chip out and report what happens. If it doesn't boot remove the adapter and again report findings.

 

If I get an executor 3 and also where can i get one with everything in it as in instrutions basicly everything instead of some of the parts. Would i be able to relock the HD and then be able to see the info that i have on the HD when i had it softmodded and also will i be able to switch because to not haveing a hard mod


by the way i get the error 5 all the time and also i dont know the key or the eeprom at all

exactly what does that mean because all i know is that it boot up and after about 2 or 3 secents it gives me the error code 5 05 to be exact but yea thats all it does right now but i might get a mod ship which is a executor 3 maybe thats inless it would lock my hard drive to it's normal stats but right now all i did to it is unlocked it with configmagic thats all nothing more or less it was softmoded with evo x useing unleach dash thats all and all i have it a unlocked HD without a epprom let alone a HD key to even relock it so yea i suck right now thats inless unlocking a hard drive and putting a modchip in it to bring it ether it back what it was once was or to see whats one it to use xbhm to relock it for me but yea im scrow thats inless enyone here can stop me from ether getting a modship in it or so " so if you have eny sujestions about how i can fix it without a chip then do so quick " plus you can email me if you dont have an acount with afrerdawn but yea fill free to sujest ;} gearbox06@hotmail.com.

 

ah thats what cromwell means fusk if i know how to use a bios huh lol also no it wont let me run games from the disk all the bios requirs that the HD of the xbox must be locked for the xbox game to load so im scrowed so yea man i know that you can replace a bios out of a xbox hd and swoping it with a xcromwell that will allow me to run games even thoe the xbox HD is unlock or unlocked but yea thanks for shareing about that plus i thought of that same thing but i dident know what it was called so yea thanx man i realy needed that except for i dont have a modchip to flash it so i can run the xbox hd to get the ether epprom or the xbox HD info text file. Yeah youre pretty much screwed. The only way to unlock a locked HD without a modchip is knowing the HD key or having the eeprom and using software like xbhm or something similar. The only other way is to install a modchip and lock the HD using slayers or something similar. Good luck.

 

enless xbox-scene goes and put out a crazy program for your computer to get the HD from the xbox in the comp and auto lock or relock without even haveing a code that or a way of looking on the HD of the xbox so you can get the epprom or the hd key or what ever it is to get it to relock again to it's normal stat but yea in tell they do that i will be saved but know Im just scrowed up the anus right now tell i get that mod or the crazy program

 

Unless youre into development etc, the X3 is a pointless buy over the xecuter 2.6

for newbs too, its a bit more complicated

to me sounds like the d0 could be a cleaner join

seriously though, anyone wishing to mod their xbox, use the 2.6 over the xecuter 3!
easier, simpler, does the job quite nicely.!

(p.s dont use the PCB for the 1.6 rebuild either, I use wires, the PCB kinda sux)

 

you should post it as in the modchip i should get and the capabeletys and also what the dash looks like

 

also will it lrelock my HD
