Xbox mod/backup question

Does modding your xbox make it able to play xbox games? Is there a certain route I have to go with modding it so that I can enable it to play them?

 

if an xbox gets a modchip you can play backups =burn games

it can also be softmod using a exploit no modchip

 

So if I softmod mod it with the splinter cell thing, I can play backups without needing any programs? Also, since I have your attention, what's FTP do for your xbox?

There're more ways of softmodding, without action replay though

 

it needs action replay to transfer the exploit files to the xbox memory card

if you only have one xbox action replay is a must

other ways there is but .you will need another xbox already mod install with the program



with that xbox you can transfer the files to the memory card... before that files have to be burn to a cd or ftp

 

You can use the USB ports in the front (controller slots) in which you can buy an adapter to create a female USB. You can also make one out of a memory card.

once upon a time i had a few xbox's 1 had the xecuter pro lite, the others were softmodded. i didnt use action replay.. what i did was grab an old contoller and spliced withy a usb cord. plugged in pc and downloaded a driver for windows. this allowed me to swap gamesaves and exploit data as well. just need a memory card for controller, but since u have to anyways.

 

Well i know there is a way to softmod your xbox without a memory card, without an action replay, ect.

You just need a special linux disc and hook your xbox hdd to your pc.

I did it last week so i know you can do it.

 

hi guys wonder if u know of away to get the music from my old xbox to my lap top/360 my original xbox is modded to play coppied games so i belive that will help but any surgestions would be helpfull

The cheapest way to mod a softmod a xbox is the hotswap method, no need for anything apart from your PC & your xbox.
