That is the process I was talking about that is required for v6 boxes and newer.. The biggest downfall to this mod that I have noticed is that some movies like the Incredible Hulk will reload your files so you would have to re-install your new dash. I still say if your playing on Live, get a chip, less hassle. Otherwise softmod or flash your bios like I do.

I order all of my chips from http://www.mod-chip.com/ Here is the Xapter solder install guide, http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/xapterinstall.htm If you order through mod-chip.com, they send you a very in depth guide on how to install the xapter. You will need to desolder the solder in the holes in order to get the solderless adapter installed. To do this use a 15 watt soldering iron, desoldering braid, or a solder sucker. After the solder is out of the holes, then your good to go...
