OK - new to this stuff. Messing about with config MAGIC (against all warnings) and managed to unlock the Hard Drive. Now get Red/Green flashing lights and message "Your Xbox Requires Service". Any ideas on how to bypass / relock HDD in easy muppet guide steps? Thanks.
www.xbox-scene.com has a tutorial on it. It's not simple but it will work. I do not know of an easy way to lock it.
Do you have your xbox modded??? You should not get that error if the xbox is modded. Which modchip are you using?
Thanks for the link to xbox-scene.com will check it out. Ref. is xbox modded. Old Xbox with Old Chip (i.e. 27 wires and a bloody pain to fit). Think this chip just bypasses microsoft check as I had to run Evolution-X off a boot disc. Not sure if this helps or if I can simply attatch a newer chip to bypass the problem? Right then - slow progress being made. Found HDD Drive lock/unlock utility however, I need to get my password and the software on Xbox-Scene.com can't be downloaded. Anyone got any ideas where I can get hold of said software?
