xbox spiderchip

    Im having trouble with my xbox spiderchip. Everything is installed correctly because the cromwell screen boots up but when i try to select "load bios from disc" it doesnt do anything. I cant select anythong on the cromwell screen. Can someone please help me out with this situation.

    I'm having the same problem to,my controller will not work on the bios screen.what verison of xbox do you have and spiderchip.looked at different forums can't find answer.

    My xbox version is 1.1 and my spiderchip is version 1.1. I looked all over too but no success. What version xbox and spiderchip do you have?

    Use an original MS controller.

    i have a xbox v1.0 w/a spdier1.1 and i havn't even been able to get the cromwell graphics to appear, did you use a diffrent screw

    Press down hard on the chip.

    You need a very good TV to see the color highlighting on the cromwell screen. The color difference is very in-distinguishable. Believe me, you did, and you can, make selections on cromwell screen, the problem is you cannot tell...

    but do the xbox dvd rom suppose to open when i select load bios from disk?

    So, you cannot push the big round button to open the DVD tray by hand?

    I opened the dvd tray and put my bios disc i made but nothing didnt happen. I cannot select anything on the cromwell screen.

    I actually had the same problem. Once I used an orginal microsoft controller it worked.
