The xbox dosent turn on anymore is there anyway of fixing this or do I need to buy a new console? Thanks
If at all possible try another xbox's power supply. You probably just blew the fuse.....if that's the case you could fix it for a couple bucks or goto the buy and sell thread in the xbox-scene forums and buy one from there.
was it like litterally struck by lightning? or did you not have it plugged into a surge protector and it a power serge happend(just out of curiosity) id agree, check the fuses
It was in a power strip not a surge protecter. My T.V. got fried, a cordless phone, ethernet card and a mp3 player.
Either way,try getting another power supply or check xbox-scene.com on their tutorials on how to change a fuse. You might be up and running again for only a few bux.
