Xbox Wireless Adapter with unlockable HDD

    I recently upgraded my HDD in my box from 120 GB to 300 GB. Works great but this drive cannot be locked. I can't disable the mod chip and boot xbox normally. I CAN go to the MS dash from the Evox dash though. No biggie as backups on the HDD and discs (whether original or backup) play fine.

    My question is whether I can use the MS Wireless G Adapter. I know it comes with software but if I cannot boot my box normally would I be able to install it? Is it necessary to install the software or can I just plug it in and it will find my wireless home network?

    I have never used the wireless adaptor but I would not anticipate any problems with this configuration. I guess you'd have to try it and see. My advice... keep the recipt.
