xbox wont work

I have this XBox but whenever i try to play it it either wont read the game or will freeze in the middle of the game. What should i do without having to spend tons of money

 

If you have just gotten it try calling 1-800-4my-xbox. Of couse that is if you have only had it for 90 days or less. Other than that I dont know what to tell you. This is the first time I have heard of a new xbox doing this.

 

Well the XBox is fairly old but i dont understand why it is doing this. Should i get a new one

 

Try cleaning your dvd drive or visit a website known as the llama www.llama.com . This will show you how to do it. I believe it is the dvd drive because I just recently had a similar problem and fixed it by cleaning the dvd drive.
