I was gotten by the update.xbe file. Now I have no M$ Dash. I have tried using Auto Installer to reinstall the MS dash, and it appears to install fine, except, that once it's re-installed, and I boot up the xbox, it boots to error 21, until I load up Splinter Cell and do a Restore to a point where the MS Dash was missing. Any ideas? I'm stumped.
I have tried to re-ftp my backed up C and E drives, to no avail. The dashboard IS there, but it will not load. I only get a blank screen.
No Error 21? Go here to get clean MS dash files: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/400161 That may also help. If you made a MS backup, you can restore that by booting the softmod menu up.
