xboxhdm what is it

    i have been reading alot of threads and that program (xboxhdm) has mentioned on more that one occasion. so could someone please tell me what it is and what it does. THANK YOU

    It allows you to create a new xbox hdd from a pc hdd if you have the C drive, optionally your E drive (gamesaves) and your eeprom.

    so is xboxhdm truly an essential program to have when using a modchip. if so please explain why.............THANK YOU

    Yeah, it's a pretty essential program. If u totally f up ur HDD with a softmod then u can use this program to hot swap and put ur HDD back to retail.

    Not really that important to have with a modchip, mostly with softmods. But it's nice to have.
