i havfe just bought a modded xbox with an installed Xecuter3 from ebay.. it has arived with the thing on the front.. with the banks and stuff... but when i turn the xbox on nothing happens, the xbox plays just like it doenst have the chip and hte chip doenst change colour or anything... what should i do??? im a total xbox n0000000b bye the way lol plz can someone help me!
Chances are that the mod is ok but the Executer has become useated from the pinheader. The best thing to do is open the xbox and try reseating the Executer yourself. First you need to determine what xbox version you have, you can do this by following this guide: http://www.xbox-scene.com/versions.php Next, you need to reseat the Executer. Just follow the instructions in this guide and you should be safe enough: v1.0 - 1.5 http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin1015.htm v1.6 http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin16.htm Just ignore everything else up to the part about fitting the Executer onto the pin header. If this doesn't work, work your way through the tutorial checking that all connections are made exactly as described. If all else fails, or you do not feel confident doing this yourself, leave your xbox with a reputable mod engineer (you'll find links on any xbox mod site) and have them do it for you.
