    Need some help!

I installed a Xenium Gold chip into my Xbox v1.6 and when the xbox was turned on, the OS booted up, but the controller wouldn't work. The LED on the chip was red when booting and then turned off. When the chip was disconnected, the controller worked again...

    Any ideas?

No, I'm not using the adapter... I'm using the pin header and the LPC rebuild.

I've checked them a number of times and they seem to be fine... would the Xenium OS sill boot if there was a problem with a solder joint?
