btw, do you have any backup games on DVD?
Try to boot xbox with a backup game in dvd drive. Let me know if it works or not.

I have tried a backup dvd to no avail. Mod chip still doesnt turn on.

Once i get home though ill open up the box and reset it.

 

did you drop the xbox? Maybe the D0 wire got loose.
What happen after reset the modchip?

 

Picked up splinter cell for 11 bucks.

Ran Linux, restored my modchip, and im up and running.My duelboot.xbe got messed up.Reinstalled it on my chip and its all fixed.

It is weird. YOu got softmod, why did you install modchip? waste of money.
