i have a wireless d-link DIR-655, and a Roadrunner modem, as far as i know my computer is connected to the router, and the router is connected to the modem.
from what i've read the web will only see the modems IP, and if that's the case i am unable to change the IP. i hope this is not the case, could someone explain how to change my ip via the setup i have.
    thanks.

You can't. Your ISP provides the IP address.

Why do you think that you need to change your IP address?
